Pumpkin purée is a staple in our house and it’s so easy to make! All you have to do is gut the pumpkin, bake at 400 degrees for about an hour (time will vary based on the size of the pumpkin), peel and blend. It will be good in the fridge for about a week and you can freeze whatever you don’t need to use later or as a frozen treat like I did! 😊

Fun fact: if you use a Hokkaido pumpkin, you don't have to peel it! The skin is totally edible. I use Hokkaido pumpkin to make soup in Winter and set some aside for my doggo. I puree it, mix with plain yogurt and make frozen treats for him. 😊

Pumpkin has been a life saver for my sensitive tummy’d pup! A tablespoon or so can help with diarrhea AND constipation which is pretty crazy that it can benefit both issues! ❤
