I'm European, never tasted a canned pumpkin puree but I've made this recipe today with butter squash instead and used the puree to make homemade gnocchi. The puree turned out really great. I loved the texture 😀😍😀 I'll bake another one tomorrow to try pumpkin pancakes 🥞 🤠 wish me luck 🤞🏽😁

You can also use the canning lid to scrape the pumpkin insides, they’re super sharp.

So far I have made pumpkin purée (several times) used for your pumpkin risotto (added shrimp) made pumpkin muffins and kale and mushroom lasagna w pumpkin béchamel, and used the purée for pumpkin overnight oats and pumpkin coffee creamer! Absolutely love your videos!!!!

My ex used home grown and canned pumpkin to make the most amazing savory pumpkin soup...pretty sure it had garlic and onions pureed into it. Best soup I've ever had.
