Don't think I'll ever use ZBrush instead of Blender, but here I am always ready to watch whatever video this guy posts.

Hello... Question: I masked out areas on a model and hit ctrl-w, but saw no color change in the polys. I'm assuming this is what's supposed to happen once a new polygroup's been created?

how do you know how many polygroups exist ? i use CTRL + W to group by masked and make 2 groups, when i UV master it shows 1/6 polygroup eventho i have only made 2 polygroup after decimation without keeping UVs

The dynamesh using the white polygroup is interesting, but for adding or subtracting meshes like that, you're far better off using the built in Boolean tools. You can actually preview what the end result will look like and move things around real time without actually committing to it, making it non-destructive as well.

A quick look at what I mean:

Hey man im always wondering what polygroups used for? Its looks like seperated meshes to me so why we dont just make them as seperated subtools
