Learned this knot from a Cabellas magazine in 1982. Used it for everything last 40 years.

Knots for the visually impaired. Thank you, so much easier to see.

I use that knot all the time. With braided line, I do 5 turns. It has never failed me 👍

The uni knot is very useful, especially when using a double uni knot for joining line, but for terminal tackle the Palomar knot is smaller, easier to tie and just as strong, if not stronger. I recommend checking out some videos on how it's tied.

I've used the same knot since 1978 here in UK. Huge thumbs up

Never considered the heat effect on monofilament. Thanks for pointing that out. Excellent demonstration.

"Gotta lube it" that's the excuse i gave my buddy when he found KY gel in my tackle box. Lol

I've used an improved clinch knot for over 55 years and never had a knot fail. I have no doubt that her knot is stronger, but it's hard for me to tie since I don't wear glasses while I'm fishing. I use it in fresh and saltwater.

Lubrication is always important. Super important

The uni knot is my all-time favorite fishing knot. And a uni-to-uni is the best way to join two lines.

It always puts a smile on my face when a woman say you gotta Lubricate it.

I remember you being left handed. You used your right hand to show us righties how. Appreciate it.

Thanks for using Paracord easy to see and can actually see how it's done unlike everyone else who uses fishing line making it almost impossible to see

I have used this knot for close to 40 years on dry flies, wet flies, & nymphs. Never had one fail. I've used it with tippets as small as 8x.

This seems like a easy knot to use. I'll definitely be trying this. I usually use the palomar knot. But when ur cold or trying to tie it fast it can be a little bit of a pain.
