Idaho College Killings: Victims’ family wants Kohberger trial in Moscow

The family of University of Idaho murder victim Kaylee Goncalves tell NewsNation’s Brian Entin they want the trial of the alleged killer in Moscow, and not move it to Boise.

Justice is only served if he is given a fair trial by a jury of his peers, who come to the trial with open minds. That is more important than the relatives desire to be within commuting distance from home, sorry. A venue that is as neutral as possible will render the most fair verdict. The relatives need to stay out of the media during the trial.

Steve Goncalves gives me the creeps, he is speaking about Convenience! BK is already judged and found guilty in Latah. I think it was someone far closer to those kids than Bryan Kohberger. If this is not addressed by Bill Thompson, in His argument about the surveys affecting the jury pool ARE MOOT! Furthermore, actions need to be taken. This family has spread false information, leading the public to believe what they were spreading to be FACT, when in fact, it wasn't even true!
2. You can't tell this family nothing, they just double down on the false information
3. They go on tv and spread anything they can think of that others that are gagged cannot share.
4. Both they and their attorney are meeting, face to face with some, with influencers and social media commentators
5. Emailing creators asking for and distributing info that shouldn't be shared
6. Meeting with multiple grand jurors
7. The FBI had to tell Steve to back off an out of state informant
8. Openly admitted to interviewing the public to seat a jury
9. Want the trial in Moscow bc of it moves, they can't go home every night during the trial. They live 100miles from Moscow.... So I think they are going to have to B'nB it either way, right???

This family is going to move this trial all on their own. .. their actions do reap consequences for all the families and it's not fair to them.... It's like, sit down and shut up for once!!! No one else is behaving this way! I said what I ❤

If the case is solid it doesnt matter wnere it is tried. They speak of justice....how is it justice to have a person, yet to be proven guilty, in jail for 2 years without even showing of evidence against the accused?

Why is it all about Kaylee as if it didn't affect anyone else. I really think this family is strange and that the police should be looking at people closer to the victims because the whole thing is a Goncalves family circus, why couldn't any of the others had stalkers? The other girls are just as attractive, if not more attractive than Kaylee and could have caught the attention of a stalker, why are the other kids all but forgotten in this Kaylee Goncalves Murder case, this bunch are loving the attention, kids died and its like Steve Goncalves is the only victim, he has the degree of narcissism to do something like this! From where I am viewing it, it's all about Steve to the point that the kids don't matter anymore!

Stop talking to them. It's not their trial, it's Bryan's trial, and he has a constitutional right to a fair trial.

The only reason to change the venue is whatever the verdict, it isn’t used as a reason for appeal. I could never be a juror, because I think he is guilty. But, he needs his day in court with a fair verdict.

After what these families have been through I think they should not be put out as far as being able to attend trial. The entire country knows the story so I believe they can find jurors anywhere who are willing to listen and make a decision based on evidence vs television reporting. In all honesty I think he should waive a jury trial and let the judge decide if he wants an absolutely fair trial. The judge is the only person who is used to wading through evidence and making a decision NOT based on reporting or heresay.
