If you want to commit a murder, Idaho would be the place to do it apparently! Glad we moved out of there in 2009. Lived in Moscow for most of my life, Idaho is just not the same anymore. Rest in peace to these kids, may we see justice one day. 🙏

The police don't want the parents to share everything to the media.

I pray for these families broken hearts. I pray for LE/Investigators. That they, not only find the person(s) responsible, but finding all the evidence needed to bring a conviction and justice these 4 people deserve.

this is a common tactic. keep quiet and let the people speculate and the news stations will broadcast the case 24/7. Probably know who the killer is they just want to watch him slip up so they have a solid case. You better believe police/FBI are reading through these comments too.

The Police are doing a great job. They have the FBI and the State Police from 4 states in on the hunt. By now they must know who's car contained the possible killer and they have him under 24 hr surveillance; waiting for the DNA evidence. I have no doubt that everyone in a 5 state area is looking for the killer. Im surprised that the Governor of Idaho hasnt offered a $50, 000 reward; which means that the Police have a potential suspect and are trying to connect him to the crime scene.

Unfortunately, some of the family members have proven that they’ll share any information they’re given, and that is a problem. I understand the frustration and I know people are not thinking clearly when they experience tragedy… but crimes like this usually aren’t solved in a month, they take time… because you don’t want any suspect, you want the right suspect. In order to get a conviction, you have to be overly confident and organized with your evidence. The smallest thing could lead to a mistrial or acquittal. The fact that they’re taking their time means they care about this and want the same outcome the parents do.

If it’s not the ex, this case would be difficult for even the most seasoned investigators. They let a lot of people into their lives and home. But, I imagine they must have the killer’s DNA since they have nearly released the scene. They weren’t using booties anymore and I doubt they can collect any additional samples at this point, so surely they already have it. They probably just still need more evidence for a slam dunk conviction. I would imagine it takes a lot of time to get access to all the potential digital evidence and ancestry DNA if they need it.🤞

Why isn’t the FBI taking over this case?

I agree with the lawyer. This is becoming a cold case. Please hand over the case to FBI ASAP. The pace is the problem, and meaningless. It is going nowhere. It is so sad for the grieving families. Instead of going at 100 mph, it is progressing at 0.01 mph. At that rate it will take the Idaho police 25 years to solve the crime. In addition, why the lead investigator has only 2 years of experience. Just let a veteran team of FBI agents take over the case.

Agree, the FBI, ISP should lead this investigation. The appearance of local University politics, just simply not equipped for such a complex crime. Moscow PD Chief moonlighting as a mover, Coroner a nurse defending offenders of minor likely alcohol cases, Police negotiating drinking and partying etiquette with manipulative kids is simply over their heads. Governor needs to intervene.

The killer knew how to commit the perfect crime, and then they blame police for not capturing the killer. Surevailence cameras and locked windows and doors would have been more difficult to enter a home. Someone knows something and unless they come forward, this case will be unsolved for a while. If any other agencies think they can do better, step in a help, and stop the criticism. A lot of crime channels have made many efforts to help. Someone will get lucky.

Imagine these kids celebrated and cheered 2022 New Year....but they didn't know 2022 will be their last year of their lives...
My mom was right, instead of celebrate, pray to God to bring new year with good health and prosperity...same thing for birthday..instead of celebrating, pray for yourself and others....u never know whose death and death anniversary will be on your birthday...
My birthday was on May 24th...and all American knows what had happened on that tragic day...I didn't celebrate my B'day...coz that day was someone's mourn day...pretty devastating day...cant forget...
Let's see how many people this year go out to celebrate New Year...BTW What is good about New Year?....its all suspense....my advice to people pray to God...and give charity...giving charity takes away upcoming tribulation and misfortune...take care
