I must thank you for this. I was looking all over for this and low and behold, here it is. I update my budget every month and to have to change the months every month is a drag. Now when I update the first cell, all the months will be updated as well as the years. Thanks again!!!

What do you do if you just want to change the original date, not create a new one? I have a series of bill due dates and every month I have been going in and changing them by hand individually. How would I tell excel to just add 1 month on to each date?

Hi, thank you for your this!! is there a way I can just display the year and month like JUNE 2017 without the day?

and also is there a way of working an IF function in there to say If the date is equal to or more than the 15th of that month then display that Month and year eg. 22/6/2017 = JUNE 2017, but if its under the 15th of that month, display the previous month eg. 6/6/ 2017 = MAY 2017. hope this makes sense and really hope you can help!
