You can calculate total number of months between two dates
by using Datedif Function. Datedif Function takes three
parameter like Start Date End Date and Third parameter
could be different for different need. For months, we
can pass M as third parameter.

Hi- Great video. Question- Is there a way to calculate the number of months within a year in a range? For example, if you are looking at 6/1/21 to 10/1/22, this formula would give you 16- but is there a way to show just the months hitting 2022? In this example, the output would be 10 months.

But it is actually 19months. And it's showing 18months.

how to get number of months in year 1 if two dates spread through multiple years
e.g. start date July 1 2022, end date August 01 2023. I want formula to return only number of months that fall into 2022. How do I do that? Thank you!! :)

if the date of the start and end date is same then we should not consider that month. If the start date is 10-08-2023 and end date is 10-11-2023 instead of 3 months it should consider 2 months only. Please help on this.
