It's all in the novel "Dark Disciple" by Christie Golden. I just finished reading it yesterday and it was great! I would argue that Asajj went through the Jedi Trails but was guided by the Force and not the Order so in the end, she died a Jedi...a Grey Jedi but a Jedi none the less.

I really like Master Quinlon Vos's story arc in original canon, now called Legends. He escaped order 66, had a child with his love (not Ventress whom Anakin killed) and later as an older (crazy wizard) met Han Solo.

They didn’t cancel the arc. They cancelled the whole show. This Arc is canon and the only reason you know about it is because it was novelized in the canon book “Dark Disciple”
