Do you think Asajj survived the events of Dark Disciple?

I believe that Assajj was resurrected in the waters of Dathomir, it makes a lot of sense to me.

Man Disney will try anything to bring back viewers. Even retconning their own canon.

As andethoras6524 mentioned below, some believe that Assajj was resurrected in the waters of Dathomir, I can buy that theory.
But WHY if she is returning just to be given a "Cannon Death" at the end of the season 3 BB??. We were already led to believe that she was dead (no question) in that novel. Why was The Cannon Workbook altered to say "her story is yet to be told" only to bring her in for an episode (or two) and then given a Cannon death. Seems strange. Is LucasFilms in need of a short-term villain and decided to bring her in only to unredeem her death and kill her as a villain, nullifying her sacrifice? Terrible.

So I still think that there must be another reason and why she is being re-used.

I like many other fans would love to see Ventress come back in some fashion, but not to reduce her sacrifice. Please.

Mike, I look at it this way: Marrok seems to have been a (partial, at the very least) creation of Nightsister Dark Magick (from Morgan Elsbeth), perhaps the reanimation of a Former (dead) Inquisitor. When Ahsoka halved him, he was reduced to green smoke, and pretty much a husk of a human form in armor. Who's to say that, after Voss placed Asajj in that green pool on Dathomir, and she was "taken" by dark forces, she may have been reconstituted and "cleansed" in some spiritual way. Maybe Asajj Ventress is out-and-about in the galaxy, after Order 66, and following her own nonconforming destiny. She is a child of The Dathomiri, after all; and, after watching Ahsoka, We now know that that race hails from the planet Peridea, within an entirely different galaxy, where The Force manifests in mysterious, unique ways. If Darth Maul could be brought back from death and insanity via Nightsister Magick, Ventress certainly could. Her existence after The Jedi Purge and the annihilation of The Nightsisters would certainly explain how/why the likes of Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati could exist within a Jedi/Force-user-hunting galaxy. Imagine if Ventress encountered, at some point, Jedi Master Kelleran Beq and Jedi Padawan Grogu?! Imagine if Asajj Ventress has managed to live up to the time of The Mandoverse?! Food for thought, definitely.

P.S. Thank God, Ventress wasn't in the (abortive) Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries.

If ventriss can live then Thrawn can die in Dave’s movie and Zahn can just have Thrawn return home and finish the Grysk Wars….

Yeah, Ventress was most likely resurrected by night sisters magik after Quinlan Vos & Obi-Wan Kenobi thought they buried her & left Dathomir ~ since Lucasfilm revised her official Star Wars databank 2x in less than 24hrs since after they dropped the bad batch s3 trailer. And ya she will probably either get a 2nd death in TBB or Filoni is saving her to return in live action. With 3 "great mother" witches introduced in Ahsoka s1, it feels appropriate to bring Assaj back in the Mandoverse timeline. I'm fine either way. But would love it more if she's kept her friendship with Ahsoka going throughout the dark times & post OT era🤞🤞🤞

Maybe she faked her death like Ahsoka.
