Use Microsoft Word's Mail Merge to generate HTML snippets using Excel data

This is a specific use case scenario I realize that but if you ever found yourself copy pasting a bunch of repetitive data HTML, you might find this really useful. I did it to generate some employee bios that had two design styles with and without images. You could use it for map data or just about anything. Once the code is generated using the excel data, if your HTML is good it's ready to paste into an editor like Dreamweaver or into SharePoint or your favorite CMS.

This is great. I use it since 1997 with Word and 1st with Access and then with Excel. More recently (2013) Google made something similar in Google Docs with Fusion Table, visually well but they produce a very bad code. This "ancestral idea" continue to be the cleanest I know.
