A flight instructor said it was basically like how boats leave ripples in the water. This is a great analogy of wake turbulence

Fun fact: there is only one fatality on a plane that successfully diverted due to rough turbulence

Side note: the first video of the A380 is a maneuver called a wing wave, not wake turbulence for those wondering

The pc-12 at the end was actually flying low behind a UH-60 blackhawk and ended up getting caught in the down wash from the blades

Me watching this after researching the 2008 CDMX Learjet plane crash:

For those who don't know the 2008 CDMX Plane crash was a plane that crashed in central Mexico City (CDMX) on November 4th due to wake turbulence by a Mexicana Boeing 767 which caused the plane, a Official Mexican Secretary of the Interior Learjet 45 (reg. XC-VMC) to crash on approach to Mexico City International Airport during rushour which killed all 9 people on board and 7 on the ground.

The fact that the video played in the beginning isn't of wake turbulence.
It's a manure called wing wave.
It's commonly done in airshows

Wake Turbulence was also the Reason for the Post 9/11 Crash of AAL587 an Airbus A300 because of the Wake Turbulence from the Japan Airlines 747 that took off before it and the Co Pilot's Overuse of the Rudder to Counter the Wake Turbulence which snapped from the Plane

I actually watched the livestream on Airline Videos when it had the Korean Air A380’s wake turbulence’s effect on the other A380! LAX is a very cool airport to plane spot at (might not be the best in the world but since I live nearby, it’s a good option)

A japan airlines Boeing 747 took right before american 587 causing aa587 to lose stability and the pilots have to use the rudder.
