I just got this 2 days ago. I’m going into uni this fall and I wanted something to take notes with that was very easy to travel with as I’m a journalism student. I got the Air instead of the Pro because I don’t need it more than taking notes, using procreate to pass time, or watch YouTube and Netflix etc. I already have a MacBook Pro 16 because I’m not using this as a replacement for my laptop. Loving it so far!

I think the iPad Air 4 is the perfect tablet for students because the price is reasonable and 64gb are perfectly fine. In combination with the apple pencil you can’t go wrong with this and the iPad Pro would just be overkill

That is the iPad I recommend people who ask me. I have a 2018 iPad Pro and I love it. But people need to stop thinking too hard on the “Pro” name. I’m often not believed when I say the current iPad Air is identical in performance than my iPad which I paid $1200 for at the time… This is why I appreciate your channel. The rest of YouTube is pretty intimidating when it comes to tech advice.

I picked up the air 4 and I love it. I wouldn't even think I was missing anything if I didn't watch YouTube reviews. The general user (which I am) will be pleased with the Air 4. I agree that the 64 GB storage is my only complaint. Though I haven't maxed out on it, I'm very conscious about the limit.

I used my iPad Air 2 to watch YouTube videos, stream live TV, and look at family photos. I upgraded to the iPad Air 4 because the iPad Pro was overkill for the price and performance.

Just grabbed a 256 one on special! after retiring my iPad Air original, yep I went that long on the original! And the battery is still awesome. This upgrade was like going to the moon. My XR now feels slow :)

I upgraded from an iPad mini 5 to the iPad air 4th generation (blue-256 gb-cellular version) early this year. I love it! I use my tablet mostly for reading/writing/coloring
Love the apple pencil! I had the original apple pencil and i just didn't like it. I do not plan on upgrading for a long time! I went with the 256gb version because i have tons of books. 64 gb just isn't enough storage

64gb isn't enough space for me. I plan on doing a lot of games with my iPad and will have it for years.
But then the 256gb isn't too far off from the 11" M1 iPad Pro prices...especially with the recent drop in price to $699 on the 11" 128gb.
In the end, I ended up going with the 11" M1 iPad Pro with 256gb of space for $799. It's $150 more than the 256gb Air...and I think it's well worth the jump in price.
