I can’t say I have seen dead cylinders on this engine. When this gen first came out I had a customer that over revved the engine and the only damage was on the clip that holds the lifter to the roller. I can’t wait to see what happened to your car.

I have a port injection car with 200 000 km on it and the valves looks worse than direct injection cars. Any Idea why is that?
