I don't understand why people don't see this: Wallace is the Huo Qubing for infantry. 1-on-1, he is a dueling champion. He just crushes people. But in a murderball, the 1-on-1 doesn't translate the same. Alex's area buffs are much more useful to your teammates. So, in murderball marches, Wallace helps you win. Alex helps your alliance win.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. My Wallace+LC has slayed during all my kvk's battles since release. It even traded even when swarmed. Freaking great.

i invested on him because i'm running 2 inf 1 cav 1 arc on field. haha kinda inf main.

If u have zhuge/boudica its better to replace boudica with hermanP (or just wait for the new archer comm).

just because that 40% damage only boosts one target damage, how does that suddenly drop his utility so low? Liu che was not getting that boost from anyone else anyway. And LC/WW both have huge normal damage boost that is basically smite damage active skill boost
It just confirmation bias, those who wanted to save gold heads for the next big thing, just got a little reason to do so .
WW still reduces rage and destroys almost every other commander in battle, and also gives a 1000 factor shield to allies.
if they want to wait a year for the next infantry commander that's upto them. or if they want to work on cav or archer march it makes sense. but infantry mains who need more than one meta march, WW is good

Its a shame if they fumbled on one of the most recognizable commanders from history.
Right now I have him unlocked and havent added anything to him yet. Im running LC/Alex and Guan/Scipio so I dont know if its worth it
Im also running Zhuge/Herman, Nevsky/Joan and Huo/William so I dont feel like there is anything I need to invest in either so its kind of boring at the moment.

He’s my best performing commander in my murder ball when paired with Liu Che by a very large margin.

I’ve invested in him anyway as someone who primarily plays with inf, fighting starts in a few days and looking forward to trying him out. My rationale really just was I just want to have my fun now and don’t really want to wait for the next inf comm. I do have alex but unfortunately don’t have double relic, because in that case I’d try to use both pairings and compare the two.

I think you forgot that with WW as primary when he is fighting more than one enemy, his first skill deals smite damage up to 300 to 3 enemies attacking him, those 3 enemies also lose 45 rage each, due to Fight or Flight.

My line up is

Huo/william
Nev/hoan
ZL/hermann
Guan/scipio
Liu che/alex.

In this lineup huo/william are the biggest damage dealers. ZL/Hermann give th e most support. I will skip Wallace as if I bring him in it will be to replace guan. To me guans silence is much more valuable than a 1000 mighty shield. Alex debuff is also too important and Liu che/alex do really good.

I’ve felt beli p and Wallace have been meh if you have the top marches already.

I'm in my first SOC and just rolled for WW, I have a max lui che should I continue to invest in my alex which is 5551 or start investing in WW 1111?

I fought a 1v1 with WW and i took more sev wounds than when i was swarmed by multiple marches in a ball!

So I have an question. I run currently Guan/Scipio and Liu Che/Alex. Do not have Gorgo, Sargon or those commanders. I did however get 10 sculptures of William Wallace. Summoned him for the gold head value bundle.
Now my Guan is only 5155 and I don't have his museum buff yet.(Don't have enough either currency), and I've been wanting to bench Guan for the longest time.
Now. Should I get William Wallace to 5511 and continue working on him towards expertise or 5551? And should I pair him with Scipio first and use Wallace as secondary, or use Liu Che/Wallace? ((I do have Alex the Treat's museum buff... 2nd tier)

I think RoK reached the state where they dont release commanders that are better then the actual commanders. You See this with belisarius or William wallace. You just have more options to choose.

2:30 The way this information is presented obfuscates what is really happening. Liu Che active skill should be 2250 not 1000. So losing the 15% doesn't drop it below 1000.
