Lol, extremely effective in his "anti-aging" routine. Unless he's like 50 looking 25-30 I don't think he can prove at his age it's extremely effective at anti-aging.

Accutane saved my skin but man, I’d never take it again unless I had to. The side effects were rough! Muscle pain in my ankles, flaking skin, and my lips have never ever been the same.

Absolutely not! That’s not even the intended purpose of Accutane. I took it 30+ years ago for cystic acne and it was a miracle!

Also worth mentioning that if you're on accutane then you need your liver enzymes checked regularly. Accutane concentrates in the sebacious glands, which is why it's so good for acne. Then it needs to be converted into different forms of retinoids, such as tretinoin. Tretinoin however is already in it's active form and we know it penetrates well into the deep layers. So his idea about treating deeper layers better might not be true.

I did a year on Accutane...its not worth it unless you have severe acne. I would never go back on that medication.

I got meibomian gland dysfunction from using Accutane. There’s no cure for it once you get it 😢

I honestly would think the oral version would be better but that’s not taking into consideration the data.
