Well, It' s been 3 years using pure treti for aniageing purposes (and practically all my life surrounded by retinoids, BP and all kind of AHA and BHA). But, in spite of being 48yo, I still need a micro micro micro round of isotretinoine every X years because my oil production and my acne are the most stubborn genetic unbalance ever. So currently using my tret every night and taking 5mg of isotretinoine 4 days a week. It will take 3 just months and, hopefully, 🙏🏻 my acne will be controlled at least the same time than my last round: 7 years without a single cyst. My skin is less sensitive now because it doesn' t suffer strong antiacne actives. Just treti and at 🙌🏻lovely nourishing moisturizer and dewy sunscreen🙌🏻. But, hey, it' s been 20 years with my derm and my case is tremendously unusual. 🧛🏻‍♀️🖤

My dermatologist prescribed me retinoid and Accutane 40mg .... My skin qas super dry n sensitive, back then i didn't had much knowledge so i went back to her then she recommended me sunscreen n lipbalm . But yes tht combination helped me.. also she asked me to wash of retinoid cream after 2 hours as i use to face burning/tingling alot ... My skin was clear wothin 1 month. I had worst acne !!!! Cystic acne all over my face.

What if your on a low dosage? Like 10mg once a week- 2 weeks

I use tretinoin while on accutane, the result is better with just either one. My dr prohibited me for that saying my skin could be irritated and being extremely dry. But the fact is my skin is happy and healthy 😇 just enjoy the skincare process

I take Accutane 16 milligrams a day. And I apply tretinoin at a concentration of 0.025 on my face and back every day or every other day. I have no side effects other than mild dryness in the corners of my lips, and tretinoin helps relieve inflammation that isotretinoin did not eliminate ❤

I was prescribed 20mg of accutane and it's a four month course.Can I use tretinoin for anti aging and smooth skin after I complete my course of accutane?

I’m two month in with trentinoin and due too the cold winds we have been having I am not using it as my facial skin has become sensitive. When I start using it again I’ll start all over but I don’t know how long that will be. 😢
