I‘m always fascinated when I read comments under videos about tretinoin. It shows me how different every skin is. I apply my tretinoin (big pea size amount) as a first step after double cleaning on dry skin. I had zero side effects and use it on my eyelids and under my eyes without any problems. I use a 0.05% cream since it’s the strongest form that’s available in my country. On the counter part, tretinoin did nothing for my acne. Then I started using a bpo wash and 15% Azelaic acid gel a few months ago in addition to tretinoin and my skin cleared up completely within a months.

Hiya Doc - I've got a dilly question for ya. Regarding the various organic fruit acids, AHAs, Citric, Malic, etc., what do you think works best and for what types of skin? I'm seeing better results with Malic acid for me. I didn't realize it mattered though?

I've been using tretinoin 0, 5% + moisturize after, for 6 months, 5 times a week.

Shoud I use it every night? I can tolerate it 7 times a week.

I’m glad tret works for some to clear acne although it made no difference to my acne after two years of daily use. I use BP every night now for about six months and that keeps me consistently clear.

Tretinoin gave me way worse IBD. Just putting this here bc I think it’s a relatively unknown possibility. I told my Dr I had IBD and she didn’t even say this might happen

Hello doctor.... I have been using tretinoin 0.05 for a couple of months now, my skin texture improved drastically and it helped in filling the deep chicken pox scars i had, I never had such clear skin, but recently my skin is extremely dry and tight and I am breaking out again.. I couldn't find the cause, it would be really nice if you could help me with this.
