Thanks sooo much for watching

Channel instagram- @endoprysm

Or you can find one used for under 200 like I did😄

Believe it or not this is all I bought for this mod. But I will do a more in-depth diy soon!

Thanks for watching! If you could leave a comment and subscribe for that YouTube algorithm it helps me out a lot!(growing on YouTube is hard☝️🤓)

I have two BBSHD bikes and no rear hub drive ebikes. My BBSHD bikes with 52v batteries will top out at 40mph.
Would be great fun to have more top end but of course risk is elevated as you state as mtb's aren't designed for higher speeds.
From someone that has built a lot of cars, motorcycles and ebikes, what you describe as 'sketchy' is what makes something fun albeit with risk. Riding on the edge. A more solid aka competent chassis makes the riding experience more serene. If you drove muscle cars of the 60's this is quite apparent...weak chassis and brakes and bad tires.
Thanks for sharing your talent and build with us.

For everyone building any electric vehicle. Never use that yellow wiring block. The wires get too hot and will melt plastic. If don't catch it on time, it will short your battery with. Motor phase wires with the full voltage of battery, damaging your motor, damaging your battery and can cause a fire.

Please do not use that yellow block. Just get copper washers, tight that bolt and use isolation tape around the connections.

That torque arm is not recommended for 3000w, only up to 1500w ma .

You need a much longer, stronger and made of stainless steel to hold the motor in place.

That frame is not recommended, because as you can see, very little of the drop out attach to the motor, research a more appropriate frame for such high power with reliability. For the purpose of the video, it will work.

Great build man. It gives people the basic to start, showing that, It's not that difficult.

Cheers!

Same thing as mine, 3000W hub 72V battery 60 mph and 65 pounds walmart full suspension mtb, that i paid $120 used, but was also almost brand new, it's actually great because the swing arm is made of steel, i also put a larger front fork with air shocks, that are actually much lighter than the old ones, and another air shock in the back.

Watched it.

I am looking forward to doing my own build with this motor. I bought a normal aluminum Gravity frame and fork that (that accepts 180mm rotors on them) with no other components attached to them for this.

What I would do differently than you do is either have custom torque arms or Grin Tech v6 or v7 torque arms on both wheels. Also the wire for the controller facing up is a place where water can get in and damage every electrical component.

I did a conversion with the cheapest Walmart bike and the worst component for that bike that would stop me from getting a heavy duty motor like this one on it is of course the brakes. Rim Brakes.

I would suggest using stronger torque arms (1 per side) as those clamps are known to break.

My best suggestion is to put hydraulic disc breaks on that, they are better for high speeds and feel wayyy better than cable breaks.

Cool I have the same kit, but using 75v instead of 72v

Btw your video format kind of reminds me of vicesat. He’s a YouTuber from Spain that makes videos very similar to yours but he never shows his face. He started with ebikes and scooters and slowly went up to car modifications and other stuff like that. You should check him out. I feel like the one thing you’re missing is to expand your video “portfolio” so that you can hook a wider audience and you’ll do great

I already built a 60mph ebike from a Walmart mtb

The ebikeguy hit 100mph on his diy ebike.

I would not want to get in a 60mph wreck on a motorcycle, let alone a bicycle. At least a motorcycle has good brakes.

I’ve built one of those but I’ve gone all out running 150a sabvoton 72v 40ah battery like how u have in ur enduro e-bike but on a mountain bike I’m not even joking goes crazy

Anyway you can do a cheaper one… I don’t get paid by YouTube and I’m definitely broke to be spending that much cause I was an electric mtn bike

Keep watching the video back to see where you say what wide is the motor is

What makes it 6000 w what's the wattage of the motor?

LaSalle seems to have gone out towards the end of the video can you please reshoot this video so we can hear what you're saying this is a really interesting project I'm wanting to put this on my trike

Another question. Did you have to solder the XT90 connector on the controller for the battery? In the picture on Amazon, it looks like you would have to.

Great video. I have a question, how fast would a 5000w, 48v 40ah battery or 72v 30-35ah battery go.
