A cliff-hanger ending...you tease Johnny!! Can't wait to see you in action on this one! I had a similar issue with my bike when it came to real estate and debating where to mount everything. Ended up adding a rear bike rack and placing controller and wiring in the controller bag, on the rear rack. Its neat, tidy, easy to access, and was really my only option; just not a fan of bike racks, lol! Great to have a video from you, and looking forward to lots more motomachinez content! Great stuff, as always!

What I did with my cables was take photos of all the plugs, remove the pins from the plugs, cut off pins, cut cables to length, solder pins onto wires and reinstalled pins in plugs using photos as reference.

If you only put one washer on one side.
The wheel won't be centre
It will be like 3mm out on one side.

And on some bike frame you may need the plastic spacer for the disc.
Especially on front hub motor.
It's best to check first before cutting it off.
I've only needed one time

Ok the hub may have larger gauges, but honestly other than that for £1300 is abit much! We can buy a £500 MTX kit and vesc it, or any other 50a-80a controller for a lot less!

You should crack it open and do side by side with your mtx wheel.

I see how you did the washers on the torque arms for the nut, nice job. And now the fun begins 🤪💯🚲💨

thats really cool i still have a 1500w rear hub with max speed of 35/40mph on a 52v 18ag battery but the acceleration is not that great but stil works fine

Torque washer goes Inside Frame 😊 3:32, that way it's trapped even if you lose the nut.

Needed a washer on there do it had mere surface to clamp to . That will chew into the alloy frame mate

At 5:24 There is a proper way to use a crescent wrench. You are holding in the way that would be taking the nut off.

Class build mate, how water proof is it? Thinking of getting one of these for the commute but doesn’t fill me with confidence when I can see wires

The level of advancement ( UK & Ireland) on the electrification subject of bicycles is on the same level to the system of the municipal sewage that you have there 😂
