There is 100% a limiter on this, at 72v 5000w on a mtb conversion almost chucks me off the back from acceleration.. it is extremely torquey

This bike should do like 0 to 30 and like a couple of seconds and it should have a top speed of easily 50 mph so somethings wrong with it or the limiter is still on. you either need to clip a wire or you need to go into the hardware and tweak it to take the limiter off

45 on mine, same 72v 5kw stealth bomber clone. Doesn’t lift the front wheel during acceleration but it’s still fast. Actually once you are already moving over 10mph, then the torque kicks in big time. Almost lifts the front wheel . I have the silver generic controller which limits the current at 80amps. My Panasonic cells could do 120amps but my controller isn’t allowing over 80amps peak. Not even for short bursts. I still love the bike though and I have a different aftermarket controller that’s programmed to allow 120 with much higher phase amps. I will have to either bypass the battery BMS or get a new one. That’s why I still haven’t put the controller on.

I think I’ve seen more of a trial’s bike type seat for these frames that make these frames look pretty sick, I hope you figured out your issues with the controller

you need to either increase phase (motor) current or if thats at its maximum a better controller

these big dd motors like a nice 200A @ the motor side to get good acceleration

Well if it goes over 40 mph then it should be classed as a 50cc motor bike then should not be on the road kids round my area are idiots im amazed they don't get hurt or worse as came close to hitting a kid off one on the wrong side of the road on a bend good job i was riding a motorbike as if was driving a car i would of hit him then i would get the blame i bet for it just stupid

It looks like a factory limiter to make it road legal. Usually it’s under 750 watts to be used on the road, so it might be on like 20% power.

Yeah there's something definitely wrong there, my 60v would fly past that.
