Update: Pixel 8 & Pixel 8 Pro does have a NEW 50MP main camera but its not clear if its isocell GN2. Its reported that its likely 50MP isocell GNV sensor which has 20% better low light performance vs Pixel 7.

Google and Samsung are not competitors, they have a partnership for Android and even co-developed Wear OS 3. Google and Samsung have never taken shots at each other in their marketing or advertising. Their main enemy is Apple and they both always take shots at Apple.

I thinks it's better comparing the pixel 8 Pro with the coming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The S23 Ultra is already 8 months and the S24 Ultra will come in only 3 months. The Samsung has never disappoints me. But I have to admit I like a lot the camera and the AI features of the Pixel 8 Pro.
