Tried it. This would be a great quick fix to keep moisture out of cracks and prevent you from cutting your fingers. There are two issues, however. First, the easy tear feature sounds great and all, but the edges are jagged rather than straight, so it's tough to smooth it down. Second, it really only works well on smaller phones. My phone screen is wider than the tape, so I have to use two pieces. And since the edge isn't straight, it's near impossible to get it on there without a jagged ridge down one side of my screen. :-/

Worked.I bought a Cracked Pixel 6 pro on ebay for $220 saved $600 using Gorilla tape.

good joke, tough clear packing tape!! finally!!!... im elated to finally find tape to "fix/repair" "patch" my phone screen, because my screen protector was just too great, with all the cutouts and perfect size.... and not a second sooner, the scotch tape was far too foggy

spent $48 on a screen replacement kit and a heat gun, better investment than this in my opinion.
