I really appreciate his thoroughness. Also I like his effervescent character. It’s not overbearing or hyper. He’s smart, he explains everything you need to know, and gives great advice and tips, and he’s friendly. It’s no wonder he’s got 4 million car lovers watching his videos daily, myself included

I like how he puts a lot of effort into his videos and he doesn't use $100+ tools like others so we can all do this at home

Chris, I was a windscreen technician for about 3 years for Autoglass in the UK. That chip came out better than some of the guys doing it for about 10 years. Also that kit you used had pretty much everything you need minus the UV bulb and glass polish. We used to have a vaccume pump and a specilised unit that you could load your repair resin in. I love your videos, keep up the good work!

1 hour of watching ChrisFix videos later, "Ok, my resin is done on the curing strip. But now I need to super clean my car, install a short throw shifter, and make my own console box."

I've seen others, but this video is by far superior. Really appreciated seeing the differences between plate, tempered, and laminated glass. Friendly, encouraging delivery of great information! Thanks so much!

Legends has it that once you go Chrisfix, you never go back to the dealership. Right Chris? 😉

That transition from showing us the broken laminated glass into showing us what we need to repair it was smooth is hell lol.

Dude, I'm a diesel technician and I love watching your videos. The way you explain everything in detail and make repairing vehicles simplified for people who are on a low budget takes part of the stress away.

As a former firefighter, laminated windshields are great for saving you from flying glass, debris and of course as a structural component but man it is hard for cut even with windshield saws it takes a lot of energy to cut it out to get in, so keeping your windshield in tip top shape is crucial, good job Chris, keep up the good work!

I remember thinking I wouldn't use this back when it came out lol. 5.5 years later and I just fixed my windshield for $10 after going to 2 of my past shops and finding them closed down. Thanks Chris! A couple of pro tips for any readers: The manual says to keep the syringe in vacuum for 10 mins, do it. Use a plastic razor instead of the metal one provided. The Pilkington glass on my Accord is very soft and the included razor started scratching it while removing the adhesive so I used my plastic one and didn't have any further problems (no ugly screeching sound either).

This is one of the best windshield repairs that I have seen...seriously, great job. I am going to repair the windshield on my car very soon and I may upload a video as well - before and after. Also, I am definitely going to get the kit with the vacuum syringe. Thank you for this great video!
