My early years in London, The Swinging Sixties,The Beatles, Carnaby Street and so many other memories.
It was a wonderful time to be young. No mobile phones, no Facebook, if you wanted to see your friends, then you went to their house.
The early seventies, Platform Shoes & Huge Flared Jeans, I loved it all.
I’m also so humbled today, to be collaborating with my Beautiful Friend Maryellen After 60.

My first make up was a lipstick - petal pink, and a blue eyeshadow, both outdoor girl, my mam took me to the local chemist ( pharmacy) and treated me to them . lovely happy days. thank you

Oh bella this video struck such a cause with me ! Firstly love your hair !! I am so surprised to hear you live in the north ..I’m an Essex girl and would’ve sworn you were either Essex or Kent ! The part of this video where you said you loved make up at a young age and your mum took you to Elizabeth Arden struck me ..I’m a few years younger 51 but I also loved make up as a child and my mum took me to carnaby street to see Vidal Sassoon and the make up shops there ..neither she or I had ever heard of the profession make up artist so I floated into hair dressing ! Years later I took a make up artist course and went on to teach it (in Brentwood) am sure you’ve heard of Brentwood ! But post menopause I completely lost my confidence ..watching your videos has given me my confidence back (several you tubers you choccykaz and of course the lovely nisha) can’t thank you all enough xx

OMG Bella the teddy bear coat! I remember it quite well, I loved Mary Quant clothes, and the psychedelic dresses and coats!!! The Beatles, Rolling Stones!
