For a film that was lauded for its efforts in exploring masculinty and uplifting the notion of two men talking things out, this scene should've stayed. It's a beautiful, full-circle moment given their connection in the first film. Also, the more Wood Harris, the better.

It felt like the message of this movie was that Donnie finds strength through the women in his life like his Mother, Wife, and daughter. This scene not only would go against that narrative, but it's also arguably stronger than any of those scenes put together.

As much as I miss Rocky, it was great to see Duke finally coach Adonis to victory and have moments like this with him.

Reminds me off Mickey talking to Rocky in Rocky 2, before he fought Apollo Creed in the rematch, "if you are going to blow this opportunity, i will blow it with you"

I’m truly pissed that this wasn’t in the movie. They shouldn’t have cut the scene out, I hope for Creed 4 that they show Apollo Creed’s two other kids, Donnies, big brothers.

It's great to see that brotherhood finally coming through between these two, especially with Rocky not being present at this time. Duke has taken up the mantel of being that support person for Adonis. Why was this scene not in the movie?
