Adonis wants Rocky to train him so that he could fight Drago. I do not own ANY of the soundtrack, property and rights go to MGM studios. Please support the original owner for full content.

Stallone's acting has gotten much better over the years.

“When a man has nothing to lose is dangerous” Rocky (Creed 2)
One of the most real and savage quotes someone could ever tell to another guy 👊🔥

" and when I did get it that ring, that guy, broke things in me that aint ever been fixed "

I think the entire Rocky fan base felt that shiver go down their neck 😳

"At least you ain't got to worry about throwing the towel this time" I wanted to break Adonis knee caps.

Honestly rocky saying “he broke things in me that ain’t ever been fixed” I really felt that on another level 🥊🙌🏽❤️

“when a fighter ain’t got nothing to lose, he’s dangerous.”

I have a feeling that Rocky says this because he remembers what kind of fighter he was in Rocky 1, one without anything to lose, and it caused him to keep coming at Apollo with all he’s got. Sure enough, raw Rocky was dangerous.

Rocky has been on both ends. He was a dangerous fighter with nothing to lose. Then, after he became a champion, he had everything to lose

I understand Donnie’s reasons to exact revenge on the ppl that killed Apollo but he has to understand Rocky’s reason for not wanting to do it. Rocky has had to live with Apollo‘s death for over 30 years and he sees no reason to relive it. And when he said “it’s got to be without.“ you could tell it bothered him to say that but he felt like he had to.

Notice how this scene had the same vibe than the one on Rocky II, when Tony advises Apollo to not fight Rocky and said "I saw you beat that man, like i never saw no man get beat before, and the man kept coming after you. Now whe dont need that kind of man in our life". Both Apollo and Adonis had the same reaction, the same glance, to look in the eye then look down and up again. Like father, like son. Genius! Both chilling, strong and wonderfully written scennes.

I could only imagine what Adrian would've told Adonis here if she was still alive.

When Rocky said I can't do it, you can feel his pain and fear...

“What good is a light that don’t light?”
It’s crazy how later this line reminds me later of when Donnie says “what good am I to anybody if I didn’t do what I love?

It’s easy to tell that Rocky was still carrying around the pain of both those nights

Michael B Jordan absolutely nails the I'm Dangerous line. Got flashbacks to how Carl weathers delivered the same line to Sly.

Rocky has always had communication problems. He’s wise, yet still stumbles with articulating himself. What he should’ve said (and it makes total sense that he didn’t) was “That man beat your father to death in front of me, his team and friends, and your mother. He almost beat me to death. Of course I don’t want you anywhere near that family.”

“That’s the same thing your father said, and he died right here in my hands.” That line hits the most. A true sign of guilt.

It's like Mickey in Rocky 3 pleading. In a since it's like Mickey and Apollo communicating

"That guy broke things in me that ain't never been fixed." Rocky is trying to explain the hidden costs of it all, speaking from a position of losing it all.
