Hi everyone, just finished my exam today (general training). A few tips:
1. Be quick on your feet on the listening exam. The speakers in the recording spoke much faster than the practice audio I had so I missed some details and ended up guessing.
2. Make use of the highlight option for computer exam for easier reference and review.
3. Speaking test:
-Part 1: barbecue
-Part 2: about someone older whom I admire
-Part 3: old people (IKR)

Done with my IELTS and got L-8 R-8 W-7 S-7 and overall band 7.5 and this happens to be my first attempt and I'm glad I made it. I got band 7.5 in 7 days preparation.
It doesn't matter if you are an expert in the English language & grammar or not. There are some simple tricks to get the desired band score.

Hey Asiya, I just started viewing your videos, and they seem interesting and useful. Although I haven't yet scheduled my exam, I have found that your IELTS YouTube channel to be the most useful and realistic thus far. The reading portion of the video was the first I viewed yesterday. The techniques you mentioned were highly accurate and "can do" in nature. I'm taking IELTS not to fulfil any VISA requirements, but rather to add it as a valid certification for requirements related to my line of work.
