I owned a GTX 745 from years ago. It lasted me up until right around 2019-2020, somewhere around there. I upgraded to a MSI GTF 1660 super, I could have gone higher but I am not into all that. I just like getting what works and is the best price. For my S/O, I went all out for a 3090 for her. There was a few minor hiccups that my GPU didnt have, but I will dismiss that because those problems were solved within a day. I do not see myself upgrading to anything further because as of right now. I can play any game out of my steam library. And, if on the offchance I need to upgrade. IT will be my S/O first because she does graphic design and is also an artist, so she benefits more from an update than I do. So I would buy her whatever the newest is and I get her card passed down to me. But that is years and years away.

Just bought a 3060 Ti and the next day they dropped the price about 50 bucks. Honored their 'satisfaction guaranteed' promise since they just refunded me the diffrence. Good store.
