How are your lips surviving this winter? Dry winter months can wreak havoc on our skin… As the seasons shifted, I noticed my lips getting drier. I would say that the losses are quite evident – no moisture, no softness, no silkiness.🙀

If you are in a similar SOS situation but you want to put your lips in order (for kisses🥰), there's an easy fix! We've got some lip balm tips to help lock in that moisture our chapped lips need.

So here is a VERY simple vegan lip balm with just 3 ingredients! Making this balm at home is very simple. Cooking time is only 15 minutes.

👌Ingredients 👌
1 tsp of Candelilla Wax
1 tsp of Organic Coconut Oil
2 tsp of Organic Refined Shea Butter
Optional: 3 drops of your favorite essential oil (skin safe)

☝️Instructions☝️
1. Pour boiling water into a saucepan. Submerge the bowl in water to create a water bath.

2. Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon wax, 1 teaspoon coconut oil and 2 teaspoons shea butter.

3. Wait 5-10 minutes for all ingredients to melt.

4. Add essential oils. Important! It should be a skin-safe oil. This step can be omitted.

5. Pour immediately into a small tin or glass jar.

6. Let the balm cool for 2 hours until it is completely hardened.

7. Apply to lips as many times as needed!

This vegan lip balm has a shelf life of about 1 year, depending on the shelf life of the oils you have used.
