I’m sure I’m going to hear about the KJV having multiple appearances of “the” angel of the Lord in the New Testament, but that’s a decision those translators made to translate the definite article into the text. It’s not actually present in the Greek. While it’s up to translators to include it in the translation when it’s necessary to convey the most accurate meaning from the Greek, I would agree with all the other modern translations that don’t add “the”.

That's why i use NKJV version. This version uses capital A in Angel when its THE GOD whereas when its just the angel like Gabriel or Michael it uses small letter a in angel.
