Despite his popularity amongst believers, Archangel Michael is only mentioned in scripture a handful of times. His presence however, is powerful enough to warrant many to call upon him in time of need.

The dangers of learning about Angels and why God doesn't reveal them much to us is to avoid worshipping them. They are divinely beautiful and powerful, and humans could easily reverence them as god instead of God himself. In Revelations, John, after beholding an angel in his beauty and glory, fell down to worship him, but the angel abruptly stopped him, saying "don't worship me, I'm a servant of the Most High just like you"..
Please don't pray to angels or call upon them to save you in times of need.. There is no such commandment or direction in the bible.. call on Almighty God the father, and he might send his angel(s) to your aide.

I have met archangel Michael. He came to me in 2010 with words of encouragement and hope. He was in the room with me, though I could not see him in the way that one sees a man physically, but I could feel a powerful presence and was very frightened. He spoke to me, telepathically, in a voice that was as clear as any I have ever heard. Strong and firm, he told me to not be afraid three times. I could not fight the fear I was experiencing, and he came toward me and laid a hand gently on my back. Instantly I felt no fear and was at complete peace. Michael began to show me visions and I asked him who he was, which was then when he revealed his name to me. I was overcome by reverence. He told me of great upcoming things and of my place in God's army. In the room, he lead me through a doorway that had opened (a vision) and through the doorway I saw heaven and the throne of the almighty.
These words are all true.

When I was younger I would pray to God, saying I want to see you, come to me in my dreams, let me see you etc but one day as I was reading the bible it was written 'Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believed'. And on that day I realized I had so much other things to pray about.

Honestly I have a high respect for Michael because despite him being one of the more powerful angels and being a literal Warrior, he's always been faithful to God. Of all the angels to revolt against God, you think it would be Michael considering how powerful he actually was and that he's a literal fighter but unlike Lucifer, didn't let power and pride cloud his judgement and instead acts as the righteous warrior of God.

Michael's superior strength enabling him to defeat the dragon may well have come through his faith in God, where as Lucifer's faith was only himself.

I had an encounter with an Angel when I was 9 years old, I was with my mother, brother and sister in the car driving home in the rain and a drunk driver ran a red light right in front of us and we crashed with no time to react, I had my seatbelt on but I put the strap behind my back because I was small so just the lap belt was holding me in and I went strait up and my forehead hit the grab handle and split wide open and I was losing a lot of blood, I was by far the most injured in the car and within seconds a woman opened my door in the backseat (which was very weird because it was a suburban and my brother was visibly in the front seat and the back windows were tinted so it wasn’t clear if anyone was even in the back) and she immediately pulled me out and layed me on the ground and took off her sweater and put it around my head to try and slow the bleeding. She had to have been walking down the sidewalk at that exact intersection to have been there so quickly, and it was not in a high traffic pedestrian area at all. She was so calm and knew exactly what to do, and made sure I stayed conscious and calm. The first thing I asked her was “do you think I’ll need stitches?” Because I had blood pouring down my face and I was scared and she said “yes you will need a couple” and just smiled, I ended up needing 150 stitches through a 6 hour intense procedure, the doctors were scared to put me under because I had lost so much blood so they did it with novicane while I was awake. All I remember of her was she had brown curly hair and a silver butterfly nose ring that I will never forget and stayed until the paramedics got there then disappeared. She looked about 30 years old to me, young but clearly an adult. I kept asking the paramedics where the lady went and they had no idea what I was talking about and told me there was no one there but my family when they arrived. I later asked my mom why she let someone just grab me out of the car and she didn’t even remember how I got out of the car in the first place. Nobody saw her but me and I knew it was an angel and I can never forget her face. She was 100% real in the flesh because she carried me out of the car and I was physically moved to outside the car. Even the paramedics reported that I was on the ground outside the car when they arrived. God works in mysterious ways

Literally there are many things happening in this world, not just indirectly but more directly than we even realise.
I thank God and The Angels that watch over me and those deep in my heart. And I try my to remember to pray and thank God for all of this.

What's even more inspiring is that Lucifer was implied to have been a cherub (very high ranking heavenly being that directly attends to God; if not THE highest) while Michael is just a malakh (angel that occupies the lowest rank and act as messengers to humans). The fact that a mere angel managed to defeat and strike down a cherub as powerful as Lucifer shows that God will lift anybody up against their opponents when they are righteous and faithful. It was Michael's trust and love for God that gave him the power to beat the dragon which was supposedly much greater than him. And that's really beautiful.
