I got a PNY 4060 for something like $300 on sale back in March and havent regretted by purchase since then. Even at 3440×1440, I still get consistent frames I'm happy with on Space Marine 2 and Helldivers 2

I upgraded from a 2070S to a 4080 while my pc was in the shop for unrelated reasons. And my first few choices ran out of stock so i got a 4080 pro art and I love it. One of the most beautiful GPUs imo. I do wish i could afford a full pro art build because I love the look but I'll settle for just a black and gold theme and save myself a few hundred.

I got a galax white 4060 because it was the best looking gpu in my pc, and honestly idk why it gets so much hate, works well even at 500 watts of power and gets the job done as a 1080p gpu, even at 4k it could run games decently high settings

Look, all the GPUs after 2015 are good enough for most games. I was running a GTX 750ti up until a few years ago and could run Arma 3 just fine. People are just trying to justify their $3k purchase by roasting others who weren’t suckered into it.

Edit: The 4060 is good for me. When I want to get better price to peformance I would have to buy a gpu that is better but also very expensive. The alternitave would be amd, but I like dlss and ray tracing. Keep the chill guys, don't feel personally attacked.

Not a bad budget build card at all it can even probably pull 144+ fps on 1440p medium settings in most games.

A few months ago I picked up a PNY 4060ti 16gb from Dell because if you have a platinum American Express card, they credit back $200 every six months and this was the only card available >$200 which met my requirements. I paired it with a 9700x cpu and 32gb of RAM and I'm very impressed with the performance I'm getting. The PNY comes with its own overclock software which ran some tests and set the overclock based on the tests. Space Marine 2 runs great (it came free with the purchase of the processor) and I am not sacrificing anything visually. $200 off an out the door with tax price of $500 is pretty good IMHO. I think I'd feel differently if I didn't have the deal.

Great deal but I personally don't want to support Nvidia with their greedy anti-consumer practices and price hikes on their top end cards.

Anyone who lives near a Microcenter should get their bundle which includes the 7900 XT for $600 within the bundle. That's a high end card for a mid range price!

I'm still so stocked, that I found a new rx 7900 xt for under 500€ in Germany last year. I didn't actually realize I made an awesome deal until this year when I got back into pc parts and building channels.
