It actually makes me happy to see the PC specs have gone up for that price range😊 my PC was built in a time of the graphics card crisis and it cost $2, 500 AUD. And it's only got an rtx 2070 super.

I recently bought a pc with a RTX 4060 and an amd Ryzen 7 5700X and 32gb of ram for about 990€ wich is about 1045US$. Runs perfectly and the jump from an old GTX 1060 was insane

If you want a prebuilt 4060 build i would recommend the shadow 4 pc. Its around 1000 and the ptp is really good

A pc store where I live in the UK is selling a prebuilt pc (they actually build it themselves at their shop less than 30 miles from me) with a 4090 but they also said during a phone call that they only use what's available and right now they have the Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC gpu and the full build along with the AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3d and 32GB DDR5 6000 ram and an Aio liquid cooler and extra fans etc comes out to an equivalent of $3600 but is closer to $4000 if you want to upgrade some components like the ssd or add a hard drive or changing the motherboard to a higher spec but it's still a great pc. I'm also waiting to save up for a MOZA R9 or maybe an R12 because I don't want to obliterate my wrists with their R21 and their R9 seems to be good.

Prices depend on the country, rx 7700xt for example is around 380-400 bucks in the freedom countries whereas here a 7700xt is around 530 bucks

The pc that I build just for competitive Fortnite has a 13600k, 990 pro 2TB, DDR5 32GB CL30, Asus Rog Strix Z790-I ITX and the 4060ti all inside a NZXT H1 V2 case! And it runs more than 600 fps! You don’t need more than this if you’re planning to play competitive games! If you want to run Triple A games than get a 4070 Ti and up!

It also depends on the country, if it's on the USA it sounds weird but in My country if you buy on brick and mortar stores that sell parts with an actual guarantee then it's quite possible to find those crazy prices, My build was around 2k with the monitor, keyboard and it's a 6750XT build.
Tho you can also find illegally parts that haven't paid taxes and get the same for a lower price but that can come without a guarantee
