I appreciate all these videos you upload. As someone who still hasn't subscribed to FSD, and am currently in the 2nd free trail, my frustration with videos like this is when it does something poorly many times the "justification" is something like, "If I was in the back of a robotaxi it probably wouldn't bother me." But it isn't a Robotaxi yet and there isn't a sign on top of my car, and if they want to get folks like me to subscribe it needs to behave more like the humans around it, not like a robotaxi. Basic things like keeping up with the car in front of it, not holding up the traffic behind it, especially when in assertive / hurry. It doesn't feel like an AI that is X times safer than a human, it too often feels like a nervous teen who is learning to drive.

Thanks for the video! I’d love to see a video that stays in one driving profile, such as standard, for the entire highway portion, rather than changing it multiple times throughout. I’m glad you did release a few videos like this so we can see what happens if you do decide to change profiles mid-drive but it would be nice to also have a video where you don’t change it, so we can better understand how it behaves in various traffic conditions in one mode.

Solid video. Glad to see someone else that takes a similar level of analysis to when I'm testing out a new version but goes the extra step to put it in a nicely put together video. Bonus points that for the pilot metaphors. My Tesla's ate up my Avgas budget for the moment, but still plan on getting back to my PPL at some point.

Love the content and commentary Chuck-unbiased and extremely critical, as it should be. Looking forward to getting 12.5.6, end to end highway appears to be a game changer. Currently on 12.5.4.1 HW3 and minimal lane change causes tons of issues when other cars begin to tailgate. How do you feel this end to end highway model is doing with exit ramps? V11 highway stack aggressively exits, not very smooth in all honesty.
