FSD is now end to end on highways! First test on my Model 3

At 12.30 Why does it go immediately into the left-most passing lane? The passing lane is for passing - if your not passing anything you should be in the right lane

Staying in the passing lane is a behavior that still hasn't been fixed, Tesla still needs to fix that

Just drove to LAX terminal 7 in heavy PCH traffic hands free with no interruptions. It even got lane selection correct in the airport.

Soon Tesla will realize they have to provide FSD with VERY personalized driving profile. There’s no one size (or three sizes) fits all. Basically, the driver needs to drive around for x miles to help FSD establish the driving profile.

4:50 FSD supervised made a right turn despite there being a "No right turn" sign. But it worked fine. The sign was probably there because it could cause traffic to back up if people waited there to be able to turn during high traffic times of the day. Would it have responded differently during those times?🤔

Also keep in mind that driving even 5mph faster is only getting to your destination maybe 3 minutes faster for a 1 hour drive and if the safety of it saves 1 life for everyone to save 3 minutes that is probably not worth it. I am an old man so I have driven a few long distances in my lifetime and driving faster never seems to really save time. One long red light can make the difference. Haha

Still seems to like to ride in the left lane on the highway. They really need to change that cause it is illegal in many states on the highway. Not to mention annoying to other drivers since it is not going fast enough to be in that lane.

The right turn at 4:55 is still the NHTSA "recall" from last year. If the car is in a turn lane for any reason, it must obey the turn lane direction. Even though it clearly didn't have a choice because of the construction, it's still going to turn right....

If lower speed means they get a thumbs up from regulators to roll out new versions i am ok with that. Still some other minor things to fix first.

Im not sure I can agree with your take on the speed, especially on the highway. It was 7-10 mph over the speed limit. Hurry doesn't mean dangerous. I think its reasonable for it to drive at that speed at night.

As as “Angelina” the software doesn’t know a bad neighborhood from an acceptable one. For instance, I would never take Figueroa down past 77th street at night and in daylight on some days. I listen to the news and am aware of my environment. Likewise when demonstrations are in progress, I take a different route to my destination or chose another.

Why should the speed limit be the minimum speed? That seems very unreasonable and unsafe.

You must have your speed set to 12% above the posted speed limit. This is the exact mph my MYP settles on when the posted limit is 65 mph.

At 24:33 it preempted the green light for your lane, because it saw the light turn red for the crossing lanes

First, thank you for keeping a HW3 car for testing FSD since that’s what most of us have. 2) we can scroll for a speed change, or step on the accelerator, but what will passengers in the robocall be able to do?, and 3) I think people who purchased FSD on HW3 cars should be able to transfer it to an AI4 or 5 car. What do you think?

Why is FSD biased toward driving in the passing lane so much? And going SLOW!?!?!?! That's the absolute WORST behavior.
