I've decided not to have my baby at a birth center for a few reasons including: location, birth center availability, and less stress for my family, BUT it can be a really good option. I share the evidence based pros and cons of having your baby in a birth center in this video.

Hi. I want to encourage you and share that I had 3 home births in SW Michigan without air conditioning. One was in July and the other two were in early September. I loved the freedom of being at home and feeling free to do/wear whatever made me most comfortable. It does help if baby comes at 2am! The hard part was nursing in the heat, but I’d do it all again if I could!!💕
