A microchip (also called a chip, a computer chip, an integrated circuit or IC) is a set of electronic circuits on a small flat piece of silicon. The microchip manufacturing process involves hundreds of steps and can take up to four months from design to mass production. Way too much jargon and it's jumbled up. "Billions of layers of transistors"?! No, billions of transistors, fabricated in a few layers. The pictures are nice, but not very well organized. This looks more like marketing than instructional. Production quality is high but I can't give this to my folks so they'll understand what the fab equipment I work on does.
