Done with Braces? #shorts

There are multiple ways to know if you are done with braces but my top 3 are:

1. Overjet: Making sure your teeth do not flare out too much.
2. Midlines: Making sure your top and bottom teeth line up together.
3. Alignment: Making sure all teeth are actually straight and form a half circle.

I'm getting my braces off in a week, even though the bottom and top aren't exactly in the middle bc of over correction from my elastics, so I've been doing them in the other direction as they told me to, and there isn't much of a differences besides how I rest my teeth when my mouth is closed.

My orthodontist said that the teeth dont necessarily havce to be perfectly straight, that they just have to have good alignment overall but my bottom teeth are like "squeezed" together

I wish my dentist used the discreet retainer after my braces rather than making me believe I will be okay after 2-3 months with the usual retainer 😢

My dentist removed my braces but my jaws don't really fit in . I mean my upper jaw is still covering 90% of the lower one, I told my doctor about it but he said nothing more can be done . I am so disappointed. After paying him a huge amount of money i still don't have that perfect smile for which I went through this all . Please tell me what I should do

I told my orthodontist that my two front teeth is somewhat not making contact with the bottom. like I kept playing the gap with my tongue. especially just the left front (so one out of the 2) like it's a bit flared. after much trying it still feel like a slight overbite. he said that it doesn't look bad from his POV. it still feels weird and it does look weird when smiling lol idk

I am 17 yr old I have overjet ( 4-5mm) I think skeletal my first Dr said it is ammendable through class 2 elastics but my 2 nd dr seem uninterested to treat she is like ur over with ur treatment your teeth is aligned your over with ur treatment I told her my bite is not correct my lower jaw is setback but she is not even minding what I am saying she is like are u talking ABT teeth or jaw as if orthodontist aren't concerned with jaw irregularities

I don't know if I trust my orthodontist or not. She says I m done with my braces somewhere by September but the middle of my top doesnt match the middle of my bottom

What actually causes the top and bottom teeth to not align? 😢 I have this problem but my bottom teeth align with the center of my face and my top teeth aren't aligned 😭😭😭 I have a double tooth as a result of that and smiling is so embarrassing 💔💔💔

I feel so bad . I got my braces almost 6 years also. My lower teeth have moved so much back. My lower arch has got so small.And my chin looks so receded and i am ageing terribly. I am 31 and i look 44. 😢 Still my teeth are not even aligned

I just signed a contract. I have overcrowding and some flaring. They recommend they extract 4 teeth. Is this ok? I’m scared I’m gonna look sunken in

My doctor, did a mistake, he pulled on of the front tooth down more than the other, should i tell him to do enameloplasty, or leave it and it will go back again to its real place even with the retainer, plz help me 😞😞

I'll get my braces off in 3 months and she told me that my teeth already looks good (I've had elastics for 1 month which I've been wearing 24/7). The last appointment she didn't do anything to my teeth, just changed some of the colored rubber bands that have loosened. I have a crossbite though and only have one appointment between now and when I take them off?? Are some people just made to have crossbite or can they fix it the last month?

One of my teeth aren’t even straight and I get them off in 8 weeks
