I am currently dealing with a really bad scalp psoriasis flare-up and decided that I needed a medicated shampoo to help control the symptoms. Walmart came to the rescue! In this video I discuss the product, it's ingredients, and how it works to combat scalp psoriasis. You guys will see me applying the product to my scalp for the first time, and I share the results. It has literally been a scalp-saver for me!! If you have scalp psoriasis, definitely try this product out!!

ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Nizoral controls redness, flaking and scaling. Relieves itching and scalp irritation. It is free of sulfates, dyes, and alcohol and starts working from the first use.

The packaging gives a brief explanation of what scalp psoriasis is. It describes psoriasis as a chronic inflammatory condition the comes and goes. Symptoms may include irritation, itching, redness, and flaking.

The active ingredient is 3% Salicylic acid.

Nizoral contains maximum strength medicine to relieve and help prevent scalp psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis symptoms while leaving hair clean and conditioned. The special formula contains tea tree oil, green tea, and vitamins E, C and B5.

I actually bought this because I have really bad acne on my scalp. I know it says psoriasis but the active ingredient is salicylic acid, which is a common active ingredient in acne products. It works and doesn't leave my hair crispy but I follow it with the nizerol deep moisturizing conditioner after. If I put regular conditioner near my scalp or god forbid any hair products or oils the acne situation gets worse. I also bought all the products with my own money. Only thing is that I wish it was a little thicker.

Nizoral does work well. I've been using the regular kind off and on for years. Will have to try this version.

Also, for anyone searching for a medication that knocks the psoriasis and itch out pretty quickly, ask your doctor about Enstilar. I was prescribed this instead when Taclonex prices skyrocketed.

i ended up on your video of this product reasearch. i am just in doubt of what i have purchased because i got it for so cheap. like about 13usd. but what i got seems legit, the box, the bottle the brand sticker. what i care is about the content inside. its clear and thin and i dont wanna worsen my scalp conditon, well i have seen 2 videos of this product and it looks like the same as what i bought. thanks.

I think im gonna try this. I have flakes bad but after doing hours of research i can't decide if it's dry scalp or dandruff. Im leaning more toward dry scalp so im just gonna start trying things!

I saw great reviews about this product for psoriasis. I tried it for the first time for my scalp psoriasis along with regular conditioner. Scalp is still very itchy and flaky after first use ..should i avoid regular conditioner along with Nizoral? Or do i need to wait until i use couple of times to see the effect? Or should i apply and leave it for couple of minutes before i rinse it off.. Please suggest.

I have started doing a number 2 hair cut on the back so I don't feel like ripping my scalp off. Of I let my hair grow the heat affects the itching. I will try this shampoo and see if that helps.😊😊😊
