That’s gonna be a no on the pride flag.

To quote Fr Patrick Payton as he made the first movie on the mysteries of the rosary and he would work with non Christian’s.. “ perhaps it will do them good to work with us”

I'm with Mr. Jenkins:

* a number of non-Christians converted to Catholic Christianity while or after working on the film "The Passion of the Christ"
* Shia LaBoeuf converted to Catholic Christianity while working on the film "Padre Pio"

That's true but you shouldn't allow pride flags on set

Faith isn't intrinsic to surgery - but it is intrinsic to communicating the faith and as Marshall McLuhan famously said, the medium is the message. Non-Christians should not be tasked with telling the Christian story because they will get it wrong. "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing."

I believe if you love the person you should teach them about Jesus and if you're a good boss you'll tell them to leave their sexuality at home and not fly it on their flag at work.

The problem is that the pride flag with all its sinful connotations was being openly displayed on a Christian set. I don’t think people are asking for a litmus test, he is being dishonest but saying that. But we are asking that sinful symbols not be displayed on a supposedly Christian production. He could have asked that no pride flags or symbols be displayed, why didn’t he do that? I will venture to say he was more worried about lawsuits and money. I stopped watching this show, I hope others do as well.

Of course! We need people willing to work with us with whom we can share the gospel. Playing the part of a believer can be a great way to actually become one.

He is consistent in this mindset! Every “controversy” legalists have thrown at his work, he’s consistently said that the show is a business, and not the end all be all

Well said. That is how God's ministry work is really done.

Mmmm I’m not so sure, I mean, I wouldn’t go to a gynecologist that wasn’t pro life, tbh not even a surgeon, no. Your beliefs do determine they way you see the world, the way you act and the decisions you make 🤷‍♀️

The reason so many Christian movies and artistic works suck is because they don’t focus on talent and making a good story or piece of art. Glad to see they’re focusing on making a good show

This would be fine if he didn’t also compromise scripture and change language in order to appeal to his audience. He’s not telling the whole truth but his audience is treating his show like it’s actually the gospel. This is obviously wrong, we don’t need to give him a pass here fam. We are not that desperate for cheesy Christian re-enactments.

Dallas seems to be a legit believer as his actions and thinking reflect the teachings of Christ and how he brought folks to God. Much respect to Dallas and the entire cast and crew for this show. It’s been so good to see Jesus fleshed out as a human and while I know it’s fiction and Dallas’ story it’s done so well. I imagine that anyone who watches this show will come away deeply moved and inspired!! God bless y’all!!!

Hiring the best person for the job is nearly always the right way to go!

I doubt Christ would approve of flying gay flags to show God's love.

When Jesus fed the 5000, he fed everyone. That right there is as clear of a sign as you can get.
