For the first time tonight, the woman at the center of the controversy swirling around financial guru Dave Ramsey is breaking her silence.

They didn't terminate her because she got pregnant. She was fired for having pre-marital sex.
I've interviewed for Ramsey's company and they are very clear at the beginning what their expectations for employees are.
I personally had issues with it and chose not to work there. This lady could have done the same.

I mean I think it’s a dumb policy. But Dave Ramsey calls people stupid on the air everyday, it’s part of the way he talks. You knew that. And you knew the policy and i guarantee you signed something saying you understood it.

I feel bad for the lady, and yet it is no secret that Dave Ramsey owns a particular brand that he is inherently obligated to protect; not just for him but all of his employees as well.

If you don't practice what you preach, literally, your credibility can be called into question and devalue what you stand for.
