A new book by former Secret Service agent Paul Landis, who was protecting JFK on the day he was assassinated, is expected to challenge the Warren Commission’s "lone gunman" theory.

Landis raises new questions about the possibility of more than one shooter being involved, as the Biden administration and National Archives have made thousands of additional documents related to the assassination public earlier this year.

Vanity Fair reporter and author James Robenalt, who spoke with Landis, joins NewsNation Now to discuss the latest theory.

You can count on NEVER getting a straight answer from the government.

The ex-CIA chief Allen Dulles practically lead the Warren commission. He was fired by Kennedy just a little before. And he hated Kennedy. So there you have it.

At this point it's ABSURD to believe the official narrative.

Why hasn’t the government released all paperwork on this? Because 2 bushes are still alive

"The final shot pushes him [Kennedy] back..." BECAUSE IT CAME FROM IN FRONT!

I never believed Oswald did it. Never ! He was — EXACTLY — what he said he was — “a patsy”.

In an assassination as such, there are 3 shooters so they can triangulate on the intended target. And they are well-trained snipers. And Lee Harvey Oswald wasn't one of them.

There is no question that the head shot came from the front. There was a shooter behind the fence on the grassy knoll.

Oswald was on the 2nd floor eating his lunch, just like he said he was. He didn't run down the old wooden stairs from the 1920s. Three women on the 4th floor said they saw nobody come running down the stairs. The Warren Commission Report ignored two of those testimonies and altered the 3rd one.

Random note: In 1978 I was living in DC and my female boss invited me to her family's Thanksgiving dinner because she knew I was alone. Her Dad was a Special Agent of the FBI and she always bragged to me that he was "good friends with the Director" (Hoover). So, I went to this sprawling farm out in the Maryland suburbs for Thanksgiving dinner - just my bosses immediate family and me. While the ladies were making dinner me and the old man and his son were having a drink in the den. I was 26 and just making conversation - I asked the old man what he really thought happened to JFK. Man, the guy morphed like a werewolf - I had struck one helluva nerve. His face got beet red, the veins in his neck stuck out, and he went on a rant. Pardon my language but the guy's words ring in my ears. He barked that JFK was a "goddamned communist" and a "fucking whore monger" and that he and his brother "got what they deserved". He went off - I can't even remember what he said after that part....this guy was like a rabid dog. I kinda tuned out....the whole thing felt so freaky. JFK was not nearly dead enough for this guy. This is our FBI, kids. I will never forget that exchange as long as I live. I have the guy's obit - found it online. He was a Special Agent in '63, by the way. He struck me as a complete lunatic - and it certainly confirmed, to me, that some members of our intelligence agencies wanted Kennedy dead. I'll never forget the day JFK died and I will never forget the words of that FBI guy. I think our government is rotten to the core, to be completely honest. Funny too, this wretched old fart retired from the FBI and ended up teaching criminology at a community college - what a bad joke. And we're supposed to be the "good guys"? Okay. Who's the banana republic?

My uncle was retired FBI I asked him once "what really happened?" He said: "We did it"

The best way to cover up a lie is to tell so many no one knows what to believe.

The only way we’ll ever know the complete story is if the CIA decides to tell us how they did it.

People know what happened and that there were multiple shooters and they were hurried away once they completed their mission. As Oswald stated, "I'm a Patsy."

I'm 83 and will be 84 in October. I was bringing my new born son home from the hospital and had left the radio in my apartment. As I walked through the door the announcement came over the air. I'm sure that agent remembers even more clearly and vividly than I do.

"How can an 88-year old remember these details?" A first hand witness to such a traumatic event, will never forget. It is burned into the mind.
