Defeating Adventism Short #10 – Are Seventh-day Adventists a Cult?

It is common of many outside the Seventh-day Adventist church to label this religion a cult. I am not concerned proving if the Seventh-day Adventist are a cult or a non-cult. I am interested in proving if the Seventh-day Adventist church is Christian on a non-Christian church.
The evidence is clear, the Seventh-day Adventist church is not a Christian church. The teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist church are decidedly not Christian and the SDA church makes Adventists, not Christians.

Your very first video on Defeating Adventism was very instrumental to me in dealing with Adventists and their constant beating the Dead Horse on Sabbath and Sunday online. I wish other Christians would be less naive in dealing with them Evangelicals especially! But they are experts at the public relations game even though, they cannot hide the Elephant in the room of why they are so fixated on this topic, which should really cause most Christians with any sense of curiosity to eventually look more into them and realize where there is smoke there is fire.

I got the term 'high demand religion' from a podcast called "Cults to Conciousness."" God has been trying to get me out of Adventism all my life, but the final push started when I got into learning about cults like FLDS, Mormonism in general, Scientology, and JW. Of course, I saw the similarities in Adventism. This led me to channels like Jims, Myles, and Peters and finally leading me to Ellens wrightings where she hammered the nails into her own coffin and the coffin of Adventism.

"Cult" was originally a generic/neutral word, but when used in the pejorative sense it usually refers to an organization - religious or otherwise - of people dedicated to one strong personality & that person's ideas/teachings/mandates, etc., which is certainly the case here. I don't know that SDA could be classed as a "dangerous" cult, however, since as far as I know they haven't forced people to live in squalor in the jungle & drink kool-aid to their demise (tongue firmly in cheek & I'm sure you catch the Jonestown allusion). That being said, one certainly could make the case for spiritual danger re: a different gospel that will eventually yield unwanted/unexpected results in the end... & that is what apologetics is aimed at preventing after all.

Its a losing battle you are on. No other church fits the description of Rev 10. Their interpretation of Bible prophecies of the last days are on point

You will NEVER defeat Adventism! You may defeat the apostate Seventh Day Adventist Church religious system, but that's NOT the Lord's concern, He is Way ahead of you in dismatling that! The question is, are You a living stone of the Lord's Last Generation-Remnant Ecclesia of Living Stones, AND of the Stone Mountain Kingdom of God revealed in Daniel chapter 2, verses 34-35, and 44-45? Are you on His side? The searcher of Hearts cannot be fooled!
