Perfect video. This should be used as a guide to every how-to auto video. 👍

If you don't have the fancy piston retractor tool set, a large C clamp works too.

Thanks. Great tutorial, noticed the guide pins are different, does it matter where they go? I saw on another forum saying the round one goes on the top and the one with 3 lengthy flats on the bottom. It looks like you had it reversed.

Thanks so much for the detailed rear pad installation steps, I confirmed w/ your video that the inner-pad w/ the
wear indicator-prong should be at the bottom wrt the rotor fwd rotation; the shop that did these rear pads last year, installed them wrong. They also forgot the transfer the rubber-plug on the rotor-service-hole, so bad job... I decided to redo this job again and this time correctly lubricated the guide pins per your video, thank you very much the guidance.

Thanks Backyard Chevy for the video. Regarding the anti rattle clip in the middle, if I want to reuse it, do I need to make any adjustments to it? Thanks in advance.

This is a reach out to anybody... I have a 1994 GMC extended cab stepside V6... The motor has a lower end knock... It needs a little TLC but no dents straight body.. unfortunately I don't have the means to get a new motor or even a rebuilt... And I can't bear the thought of sending her to a junkyard where she will be cannibalized... If anyone would be interested I would rather see her go to a good home..
