I like how even on a 3 year old video Chris is still hearting and replying to comments. That's dedication

Did my brakes for the first time today, took me 5hrs! just to do the driver side... my pads didn't slide in and out nicely as I hoped 🫠 but hey, my wheel doesnt make that scraping noise anymore 😅 just gotta finish the otherside now. Thank you Chris, you've revealed a new passion of mine. This has been exciting in its challenges

This man deserves every single subscriber. The ability to clearly explain things whilst ensuring the camera gets in to all of the small and difficult to reach places is pure quality.

@ChrisFix I want to say so much more, but after my dad passed away last year I lost my rock for everything automotive related. I knew basics, but having my dad to rely upon when I wanted to work on a vehicle just gave me so much peace. A few months ago I donated a kidney to a friend and have been out of work for awhile. Things started happening to my vehicles and I didn't want to lose money to a mechanic. I was still dealing with not being able to pick up the phone and call my dad for help, so I turned to your channel. I needed to fix a tie rod and my brakes. Your videos gave me so much help, and most importantly....peace of mind, to fix the problems on my own. I may not have my dad any more to call upon, but thank you for your videos because rest assured that I am not the only one missing their dad when help is needed and you have filled that void 💯

Just did my brakes! Thanks man, it was kinda scary but once I got the first one done the others were SO much easier. Saved probably $500-600 doing this myself, really appreciate the videos!!

I used to think doing this sort of maintenance was impossible unless you were a mechanic but these videos prove otherwise. Great stuff!

The fact that you lay out the tools & parts needed shows how much you want us to learn. I like your style of organization.

Not gonna lie, I'm still afraid of changing brakes, but I'm gonna do it myself anyways because Chris gave me confidence

The fact that I will one day teach my children how to change brakes & I'll be using your exact method years from now is beyond me. I thank you from the bottom of my Heart.

Chris. By this point you have saved me literally thousands of dollars in repairs. Every time something goes wrong on any of my vehicles, you are the first channel I come to and see if you've covered it. Your videos are clean, your explanations are thorough, and you dumb it down so a troglodyte like me can figure it out and turn a wrench. I'm sure there are other places I can go for this information, but you are by far the best.

Thank you so much!

I have never changed my own brakes, but I have spent a small fortune letting others do the job. I think next time I need it done I will certainly do it myself!

Hey Chris! I just wanted to let you know that the dealer quoted me ~ 1000-1100 to replace a seized calliper, so rotors pads and a new calliper. With your video I was able to do it myself for $315 and wanted to thank you :)

Hey Chris, just wanted to let you know, today was the first day I really worked on my car, I replaced my oil, changed my filters, and replaced the front brake pads. I went to a garage where you can rent a stand by the hour, as I lack the handtools at home, and I was done in just under two hours. I watched this video several times, and thanks to this was not really surprised by anything I encountered. Keep the good, work up, I think I just got inpired to undertake more work on my car. Cheers dude! :D

I love how Chris is always reminding us to not only use the Jackstands but also the Jack for extra support
I mean in every video where he raises the car up, he never forget to remind us.

Because of this video I was able to replace my front brakes today for the first time. I plan on doing the rear brakes soon and I’ll keep this video loaded and ready.
