This is easily the most difficult Paper Mario TTYD Challenge I have ever done. I expected to lose many times throughout this playthrough, but pushed through and ended up having many successful battles. Hey, so I may have made an oopsie. I should have added the pit of 100 trials to the end of this video. I was going to make it its own separate video, but I have realized that I cannot turn just the pit into a good video, and I don't want to give y'all half baked content. Just know it involved a lot of Yoshi Stampedes.

Gale force chance is based on level difference, since the Dark Koopatrol was a much higher level than you, that means you got really lucky.

This is why I love combat systems like these because you can build in your own challenge while the combat can adapt to any change you give it. It's why I continue to challenge run this game after so many years. It's a yearly tradition of mine.

The tutorial boss part transforms into a counterstrike minigame. Like, you have 10 points of health, and either you miss 10 times or repel 10 attacks. Pretty fair and challenging.
