For real life application we don't use power method or inverse power method
if u still want to use it combine it with rayliegh quotient
the common problems about the eigen values are accuracy and speed for a 10 V 10 matrix it takes too long to calculate
we always Use QR algorithm A=QR either u use gram schmidt for Q or u can use householder reflector for Q
if u want to speed up the process u can combine with hessbreng form and shift
I haven't go through all the videos but the QR is one of the most most most important decomposition in linear algebra
