I live in Mexico and quite frankly avoid places like Aijiic due to the arrogant and priviledged attitudes of the "expats". I personally do not use the term. The idea that Mexican culture should mold to them, to us is absurd! At least attempt to learn the language and respect the local color! We are guests here and should act accordingly. This is a beautiful place, and the people are too.

I lived in Ajijic for 3 years but I agree I knew many Americans that did not learn to speak Spanish. I learned and tried to speak with the Mexican people and their language. I also lived in Puerto Vallarta for three years which I loved except for the hot humid months. Mexico is a wonderful country and the people are amazing and will give you the shirt off their bag. They will cook for you and feed you even when they don’t have a lot for themselves.

Great video
I like Queretaro, San Miguel De Allende, Monterrey and Guadalajara
Guys if you move to Mexico learn Spanish, see it as communication is a beautiful thing, no matter what language it is.
I moved to USA and I leaned English if I move to Brazil I’ll lean Português for sure.

We all learn from each other.
Saludos a todos!

Smaller town, cheaper! Have lived in Patzcuaro for 10 years. 7, 000 feet in a mountain range by a lake. Famous for Noche de Muertos. Very mild climate! Spring all year round! Tons of local fruits and vegetables in the mercado. Very inexpensive! A Pueblo Magico and less than 35 miles from Morelia, a UNESCO World Heritage site! Home of the Purepecha Natives, never conqured by the Aztecs!

Como extranjero siempre ha sido un gusto viajar en México. Conociendo lindos lugares, y la gente extraordinaria! A mi me encanta la cultura, la comida, el idioma en fin todo!
Y también la bella música!
Gracias Mexico, tu amigo Daniel

Where ever people decide to go they really should learn the language and not expect everyone to speak English. As an American in the US, people here expect everyone to learn and know English. Why shouldn't it be the same for people moving to a foreign country

I relocated to Morelia, Michoacan about three years ago, from Reno, Nevada. If you're not obsessed with living on the beach, or being in an expat enclave, costs of living are even less. We have a beautiful, nearly 4000 square foot home, that only rents for $400 USD monthly. No need for A/C or heating, due to the elevation, which helps greatly on the budget. Gorgeous city, great culture, great people. NEVER been approached or victimized by ANY crime. Have found no need for a car, everything we need is within walking distance. Assimilation is key though, to enjoy life to its fullest.
Best move I've ever made! VIVA MEXICO 🇲🇽

My parents bought a home in mazatlan 2 years ago cost them 20000 american and invested 25000 to modernize it and fill it with appliances and furniture. I been there plenty of times very calm safe and small town feeling hoping of my siblings I inherit the house lol. They will be living there full time in 2 years when my mom is 59, for now a vacation home

great video but it would have been better if you flashed a map of where all these great cities are located before each of the 10 segments

So glad that Huatulco is protecting 90% of its beaches. I remember when no tourists or Mexicans didn’t know Huatulco

Puebla and Cholula should have appeared in the list. They are the cultural centers of the country. Beautiful and full of history. And not so High priced as Tulum
