I totally made the beginner mistake and my pouch ended up extending outwards but it ended up really cute! If I start tightening better and remember the steps better, I bet I'll make cute pouches like yours~ Learning and making mistakes while practicing with your videos is so encouraging and I feel such pride in the end. Can't wait to try out more of your patterns!

Update: I made a second pouch the next day! The sides were straight, the size came out perfect (my first was a bit big) and the stitching was better! My first and second pouches were soo different!!! Can’t wait to make even more 🫶🫶

thank you SOOOO MUCH for this tutorial! ive been wanting to learn how to crochet for some years now but i always end up messing up mid project because the person explaining dosent go into enough detail even though the video states its perfect for beginners and after messing up i would get discouraged and give up but this tutorial was perfect in every way you explained things in such detail your hand movents were slow and accurate and you never unintentionaly covered what you were doing from the camera. With your guidance i was able to make this for my mother to hold her essentials in and she loves it! I feel so accomplismed and thankful thank you so much <3.

I’m still a beginner but I hadn’t heard the tip of pulling the slip stitch super tight so it almost disappears! I get confused if I’m stitching into the same stitch as the sl or into the next, so this tip should come in handy 🫡 thank you!!
